Antique Mahogany Traveling Box
Traveling boxes were used during the late 18th century to accompany upper class gentlemen during their voyages. They usually housed items like shaving creams and razors (hence the mirror) and colognes. By the early Victorian era, women began to use them as well! Features a deep brown wood, golden metal oriental-style accents, a mirror, interior red velvet lining, and one drawer. In excellent condition.
